RAWALPINDI: Three people were critically injured after being ambushed by unidentified gunmen in Siham area of Chauntra police on Sunday.

According to police spokesman, Abdul Waris, Qasim and Atif were travelling in a car when unidentified persons opened fire on them in Siham area.

Police said soon af ter the incident came to light, SP Saddar Division Ahmad Zaneer Cheema visited the crime scene and directed the police to trace the culprits and arrest them.

Police said the injured were shif ted to the hospital where one of them was stated to be in critical condition. The motive behind the attack was yet to be ascertained by the police. Staff Reporter
