KARACHI: A 35-year-old man was shot dead allegedly by his relative in Manghopir on Thursday evening, police said.

They added that the deceased, identified as Akram Mohammed, was killed during a personal dispute at Gul Mohammed Goth.

Area SHO Imran Ahmed Khan said that a dispute erupted between some relatives over an issue. During that, a man, identified as Waheed Brohi, opened fire. As a result, two bullets hit victim Mohammad on his chest and hand. He was taken to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital where doctors declared him dead. The suspect managed to escape from the spot.
