LAHORE: Chief Secretary Zahid Akhtar Zaman has directed all administrative secretaries to expedite the promotion process of respective departments` employees and finalisation of pension cases.
Presiding over a meeting of administrative secretaries at the Civil Secretariat on Thursday, the chief secretary said a delay in finalisation of promotion and pension cases would not be tolerated.
He said it was a right of employees to get their due rights.
Besides all administrative secretaries, the P&D chairman and the additional chief secretary also attended the meeting.
