PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has announced summer vacation in public and private schools from June 1 till August 14 in the summer zone (plain areas) of the province.

A notification issued by the elementary and secondary education department here on Friday also said vacation for the winter zone (hilly areas) would be from July 1 to July 31.

The department has directed all the public and private schools to comply with the vacation schedule.
