TOBA TEK SINGH: Eight persons were injured critically when the roofofa house caved in the D Type Colony, Samundri Road, Faisalabad.

Rescue 1122 reported that a marriage function was being held on the rooftop of a house and all people were sitting on it.

Due to the weight, the roof collapsed and the guests fell on the ground, some of them buried under the debris.

Eight of them received injuries. They were identified as Parveen, 60, Fatima Bibi, 38, Ahmad Qasim, 15, Asia Bibi, 35, Faheem, 19, Rukhsana, 45, Ghazala, 40, and Abdul Rehman, 30.

All the injured were shiftedtotheGovernment General Hospital, Samanabad. The condi-tion of five of them was stated to be serious.

ACCIDENT: Two persons died after a truck hit their motorcycle at Jhang on Saturday.

Rescue 1122 identified them as Muhammad Javed (37) and his mother Umme Salma (60). They were on the way to Jhang from a village. When they reached near the Government Vocational Training Institute, Satellite Town, a truck coming from the opposite side hit their motorcycle while overtaking a vehicle. Javed and Salma were critically wounded. They were rushed to the DHQ hospital where they succumbed to their injuries.

PTI: Faisalabad Civil Lines police completed identification of 95 PTI activists allegedly involved in the attack on an ISI office building located near Regency Plaza on May 9.
