OKARA: Hujra Shah Mugeem police registered a case on Saturday against a man for allegedly raping his own daughter at Rajowal village.

As per the FIR, `S`, a class IX student, was being raped by her father since long.

The alleged crime was exposed when the girl`s mother caught her husband red-handed. After being exposed, the suspect fled away.

After her mother reported the matter to the police, the girl was medically examined at Hujra Shah Mugeem Rural health Centre and the report confirmed the rape.

The Hujra police registered a case against the suspect under section 376 of PPC.

Taking notice of the incident, DPO Mansoor Aman directed the Hujra SHO to nab the suspect within 24hours.

INJURED: Six people, including two children suffered injuries when a van collided with a motorcycle near Sobha Ram stop on Dipalpur-Okara road.

As per Rescue 1122, in a head-on collision between a van and a motorcycle, Asif, 14, Mudassar, 10, Abdul Quddoos, Liaqat, Ramzan and another man suffered injuries. They were shifted to THQ hospital.

PROTEST: Jamaat-i-Isalmi workers and Kissan Board Pakistan activists of staged a protest demonstration in front of the local press club against the terrorist attack on JI Emir Sirajul Haq in Balochistan.
