WHILE waiting for the traffic signal to turn green at an intersection, I saw a man begging for money with a monkey on his shoulder. He was saluting a car-owner waiting adjacent to me, but the man was not paying any attention to him. When the window glass was not rolled down for some time, the monkey pushed his master`s arm down. Amused by the monkey`s action, I thought the animals might be more mindful of self-respect than the humans.
