NAB seals ex-finance secretary`s bungalows in Karachi

KARACHI: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has traced and sealed about a dozen bungalows of Mushtaq Raisani, the suspended finance secretary of Balochistan, in Karachi, it emerge d on Monday.
Sources believe that the bungalows had been purchased for resale as Raisani was actively involved in the property business in the city.
According to sources in the bureau, a NAB team from Quetta with some local officials visited nearly a dozen bungalows in different phases of the Defence Housing Authority a couple of days ago. The houses, which had been abandoned as no one was living there, were searched by the officials.
`A few vehicles were also found in a house. Later it emerged that they were also owned by Raisani,` the sources said.
`After completing formalities, NAB has sealed the bungalows and seized the vehicles,` they said.
`The team from Quetta is still in the city for further investigation into Raisani`s assets.
