HYDERABAD: A prosecutor agreed with investigating officer`s (10) report on Inder Vineet murder case before a judicial magistrate on Monday that the case should be tried under Section 319 PPC (punishment for unintentional murder or qatl-e-khata) .

Mohammad Nawaz Junejo, prosecutor, told the judge after scrutiny of IO`s report that he agreed with the IO`s contention about trial of the case under Section 319 PPC instead of 302 but recommended inclusion of three more names in the case not mentioned by IO`s charge-sheet.

The 10 should have included the names of Hyderabad Club administrator, Mushtaq Ahmed; head trainer, Sajjad Bhurgari; and club`s computer operator, Umair Shoro, in the charge-sheet to be challaned under Section 319.

Mr Junejo told Dawn that now the court would pass an order on June 28 on whether to accept challan under section 302 PPC or 319 PPC.

Inder Vineet apparently drowned in a pool in the club on April 13 which left him seriously injured and unconscious for a week until his death during treatment at a Karachi hospital on April 22.

His father, Dr Chetan Das, lodged a case at GOR police station and police arrested two lifeguards, Sajjad Parihar and Nadir Parihar.

Dr Chetan believed his only son was murdered when he resisted sexual assault and then his body was thrown into the pool.

He has filed a petition in Sindh High Court which will hear the case on June 28. The 10 of the case has also been summoned to the court the same day.
