Four held for kidnapping, killing rival
By Our Staff Reporter
2019-06-21
ISLAMABAD: Police arrested four people on the charge of kidnapping and killing their rival over an old enmity.
Zaheer Ahmed Khokhar, a resident of Alipur, complained to the Margalla police that his brother Safeer Ahmed, 45, had gone missing.
He said his missing brother was on bail in a murder case and his rivals might have abducted him.
On May 21, Ahmed visited the district and sessions court Islamabad for hearing of the case and then disappeared.
The police registered a case and picked up four of his rivals who told the investigators that they had kidnapped Ahmed and murdered him at Chirah.
The police recovered the body from Chirah and shifted it to hospital for an autopsy.
