There are a lot of myths and misconceptions about feminism in Pakistan. Many people perceive it to be an anti-men movement run by a group of angry women. Feminism simply demands equal rights for all, especially women. Another common myth is that only women can be feminists, which, again, is not true. A feminist is anyone who supports the rights and equality of genders and wants to eradicate oppression.
