Millions of rupees are allocated each year for the development of Gorakh Hill, but only a small fraction of the amount is utilised.
Roads around the hill station have been in a terrible state, causing accidents. There are no facilities for tourists that make their trip comfortable and memorable. A new road from Wahi Pandhi to Gorakh Hill, which was built with funds worth millions of rupees, got washed away in a single spell of torrential rain. The government seems least interested in boosting tourism in the province.
