THIS refers to the letter `Acute water shortage` (July 27) by Anwar Hussain. The writer has raised a pertinent point. When the Chief Minister`s House, Governor`s House, Bilawal House and handful of other big names are exempted from loadshedding, there is no reason why the pumping stations at Dhabeji and other places should not be exempte d from loadshedding.
It is a pity that while the so-called public representatives enjoy every privilege, the 20 million citizens of the metropolis are not able to get even regular water supply.
