MQM and Rangers

2015-08-21
APROPOS the letter `MQM letters` (Aug 12) by Ali Malil< who has objected to MQM leaders writing letters to the UN and other nations on purely internal matters of the country.

A British passport holder will have no reason to write to UN or some other country because there is rule of law, and all state officials including law-enforcers work strictly within the ambit of law.

In the isolated case of someone suffering unjust treatment, he can seek redress locally and through the courts.

If an incident like Model Town killing of 14 men and women had happened in Britain, heads would have rolled, and Rana Sanaullah would not have remained in his position trying to give the shameful Kasur happenings a twist by claiming it had to do with a property dispute.
