QUETTA: Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Qasim Suri has vowed to fight on all forums for the rights of Balochistan which had been denied by previous governments.

Returning to his hometown after being elected deputy speaker, Mr Suri promised to become the voice of the youth of province by taking up all their issues.

Talking to newsmen at the Quetta Airport on Monday, he thanked the people for paving the way for him to be elected to the post. `I will make all-out efforts to come up to the expectations of people and Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI),` he said adding that Prime Minister Imran Khan had honoured him by nominating his name for the slot of deputy speaker.

He said the 100-day plan as announced by the prime minister would be fully implemented.-StaffCorrespondent
