NAROWAL: The Sialkot police have arrested a woman and her friend who allegedly killed her husband on June 26 in Sialkot`s village Kala Ghamna.

Muhammad Haider approached the Muradpur police that his younger brother, Muhammad Sufyan, was shot and killed on June 26 while returning home from the factory.

Inspector Mian Razzaq, the station house officer, said they interrogated Muhammad Faisal fromKachhari Road who soon confessed to committing the murder.

The suspect had a relationship with Saira Bibi, wife of the deceased, and they both wanted to get married. He claimed he killed Sufyan upon the request of Saira.

RESCUE OPERATION: Two youths who are feared drowned in the rainwater drain Baein in Shakargarh on Saturday have not yet been found.

A search operation by Rescue 1122 continued on Sunday. Harmat Ali, Rescue 1122 spokesperson, said that on Saturday, three youths whiletaking a bath in a rainwater drain Baein, near Kotla Afghanan, a village on the outskirts of Shakargarh tehsil, went missing in water.

Soon the Rescue 1122 team with an ambulance, water boat, and professional diving team arrived at the spot. He said that the local people pulled out one of the three youth alive from the drain before the rescue team arrived.

A search operation has been going on to find the two youths-15year-old Hamza and 14-year-old Hassaam Ali both from village Mandikhel.
