PRIVATE school fees are getting so high that parents can`t afford schooling any more. There is no limit of greed and lust for money of private schools managements.
On the other hand, the quality of education is on the decline.
There is no permanent faculty in these so-called prestigious private schools. The private schools always put so much burden of homework on students only to give parents a message that the school is so concerned about the studies. But the reality is different.
Most of the teachers are unprofessional and are not aware of basics of teaching and methodology. On the other hand, the fee is regularly raised, compounding the misery of the parents who have been forced to take to the streets owing to drastic increase in fee.
Private schools owners should realise thateducationis the right ofevery person anditis notjust abusiness.
Hassa n Mehmood Lahore (2) K ARACHI private schools are increasing the fee day by day. Parents have decided to stop paying exorbitant fees.
According to a report (Sept 16), a father pays Rs22,000 each as school fee for his three children. Apart from the school fee, he was paying for the school van fee and he has delayed his third child`s admission until after Eid so that he may avoid extra charges for two months. Another parent is paying Rs50,000 for her son`s studies in Class IX.
I request the chairman of private schools association to stop thisincreaseinfees.
