Two sisters murdered in Talagang

CHAKWAL: Two sisters were murdered in Talagang city on Tuesday, police sources said.
Javeria Abdul Qadir, 10 and Laiba Abdul Qadir, 12, were found dead by their older brother, Abdul Rehman, when he came home from work.
Abdul Rehman, who runs a spare parts shop, said when he came home and called out to his sisters he did not receive a reply.
`When I looked for them around the house, I found Javeria`s body on the bed.
Laiba was lying in a pool of blood in the next room.
Abdul Rehman, originally from Kohat, had been living in Talagang for the last two years with his two sisters and mother. His father works in the Middle East. Rehman said his mother was in Kohat, visiting his older sister who is married.
Both the girls attended a local school. Javeria was a student of class three and Laiba was in sixth grade.
Rehman said: `I used to check up on my sisters a few times during the day when they were alone at home. I would also call them every now and then.
The brother said his family did not have any enmity.
`I don`t know who killed my sisters and why` Talking to Dawn, Investigation Officer Rana Zulfiqar Ali said the girls had been murdered with a sharpedged weapon and that there were no signs of physical torture on the bodies.
Mr Ali said investigations into the matter had been started and that they were waiting for the autopsy repor t.Correspondent
