MUZAFFA RGARH: The Jamat-e-Islami has promised to join farmers` protest drive if the crushing season does not started from November 1.

Addressing a workers convention in Alipur Shumali on Friday, JI leader Liaqat Baloch said he was surprised to learn about fake cases against fish farmers to retrieve leased land f rom them.

The convention drew a large number of farmers as well who were disappointed at low rates of their farm produce.

They chanted slogans against sugar mills for non-payment of their last year dues.
