By Abid Mahmood Amir 2017-10-21
NAROWAL: Wherever they go, their commonality make them the centre of attraction; in deep down their hearts, the two brothers have high aims.

Itrat Ali and Aatif Ali, the sons of tailor Nasir Ali, live in a small town of Budha Dhola.

Of them, Itrat (21) is three feet tall and Aatif (19)is3feetand 6 inches.

Both go to school; Itrat is a class nine student and Aatif is in class seven in the Government CD Islamia Elementary School, Talwandi Bhindran.

Both brothers remain together in the school and home. Their father says he seldom allows his sons to go out as he thinks someone can harm them.

Despite spending lots of time together, both Itrat and Aatif have set different aims.

Itrat`s ideal is former army chief Raheel Sharif and wants to eliminate terrorism and corruption from Pakistan.

`I`ll put an end to corruption and bring back the looted wealth of Pakistan stashed in foreign banksand I`ll work day and night for this purpose,` he says, without specif ying his plan.

Aatif, on the other hand, is interested in acting. He watches Indian films and wants to perform withSunny Leon.

Their father Nasir says he wants to keep the morale of his sons high by giving them good education.

Both brothers are healthy. Their motherParveen Bibi says that when Itrat was young, she noticed that he was not growing like normal children.

`We took him to Children`s Hospital in L ahore, where doctors prescribed several laboratory tests,` she recalls.

`At the end, doctors prescribed surgical and medication treatment, which would cost us Rs150,000, she said.

Their meager income did not allow them to go for the treatment.

`In spite of our low income, we take full care of the children. I`m responsible for providing healthy meals to them and help them in studies and I`m doing my best in this connection,` she said.

Every day, they commute to the school with their father on his motorcycle.

The school is five kilometres from their house.

Their teachers Asif Ali and Muhammad Anwar say that both brothers act like normal children in the class. They said Itrat and Aatif were gifted with skills.

In school functions, they said, Itrat recites Naats whereas Aatif is fond of singing national songs.
