Cabinet expected to meet in Sargodha next week

SARGODHA: With the Punjab Cabinet meeting due here next week, the deputy commissioners of four districts, particularly of Sargodha, are on stormy visits to various offices to renovate government offices in the division.

The assistant commissioners of all tehsils have been instructed to ensure the provision of basic facilities in offices and hospitals located in their respective areas.

M e a n w h i 1 e ,C o m m i s s i o n e r Muhammad Ajmal Bhatti, taking notice of the state of disrepair of government offices and official residences of officers and employees, has asked the deputy commissioners to inspect the offices and residences of all subordinate officers and prepare construction and repair estimates within two days.

He was addressing a meeting regarding providing a better environment to government officers under the chiefsecretary`s initiative.

The commissionerappointed Director DevelopmentBilalHassan as the focal person to monitor the projects.

FOOD DAY: The Institute of Food Science and Nutrition, University of Sargodha, on Friday organised an awareness walk, seminar and nutrition camp in connection with the World Food Day under the theme of `Water is life, water is food. Leave no one behind`.

`RPO Shariq Kamal Siddiqui, UoS Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Q aisar Abbas and District Police Officer Kamran Fasial inaugurated the camp.
