BAHAWALPUR: A motorcyclist died on Friday, while a boy riding pillion suffered injuries when they were run over by a tractor at Adda Tera Hazar in Yazman tehsil, about 40kms from here.

Police said one Fazal (35), and a 10-year-old boy identified as Waqas were on motorcycle when it was knocked down and run over by a speeding tractor.

As a result, Fazal died on the spot, while the boy was injured and shifted to Yazman Tehsil Headquarters Hospital for treatment. The bodyof the deceased man was also moved to the THQ hospital.

Police reached the scene to arrest the tractor driver, while the body and injured were shifted to the THQ hospital.

INJURED: In a clash between two rival groups, as many as 12 persons, including three women, suffered seriously injuries at Peero Joia village in Khairpur Tamewali area, about 45kms from here.

The injured were shifted to the Khairpur Tamewali THQ Hospital, while police reached the scene to take legal action against the parties involved in the clash.
