MUZAFFARGARH: A woman was killed by her brother for demanding her share in property in Kot Addu on Sunday.

Rabia Bibi, 38, a resident of Ward No14-A, was shot dead by her brother Asghar Ali who was angry with her for asking for a share in their father’s property. He had sold the inherited land and Rabia was demanded her share in the money. The suspect fled after the murder.

The Kot Addu City police started the operation and registered a case against Asghar Ali. Rabia’s body was shifted to hospital for a post-mortem. —Correspondent
