OKARA: Police have traced the killer of a woman whose body was spotted near village 11/4L on the national highway by a night patrolling team a week ago.
On the direction of DPO Furgan Bilal, a team led by SHO Saifur Rehman was formed to carry out investigation.
Police found a cell phone used by the slain woman. Its call data record led police toZakarullah, a father of five from Lahore.
The suspect idendhed the woman as Hina, also the mother of three from Nawan Kot area of Lahore.
Police said Zaka had relations with the woman and killed her following a disagreement over an i ssue.
Zaka strangled Hina in Lahore with the help of his accomplice Walid and then brought her body to Okara to dispose it of.
