ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Electric Supply Company (Iesco) has said the power utility will continue to provide the Bijli Sahulat Package to consumers in electricity bills for January and February 2025.

Iesco Chief Executive Officer Muhammad Naeem Jan announced that under the winter package, domestic customers availed relief of Rs115.55 million, commercial tariff customers Rs58.21 million, industrial tariff customers Rs46.08 million while government connections got relief of Rs46.08 million in the bills for December 2024.

In total, in the month of December, Iesco provided a relief of Rs267.28 million, he said.

He added that special relief will also be applied to the electricity bills for January and February 2025 for using additional ele ctricity units.

`Special instructions have been issued to the computer centre and field offices in this regard. Customers can contact the relevant Iesco offices for further information,` he said. Staff Reporter
