DADU: Strong winds and torrential rain caused 12 towers of 132 kV of double circuit master green transmission line from Jamshoro to Nooriabad to collapse late on Monday night.The fallen towers location numbers 35 to 39 and 41 to 47 suspended electricity supply to Nooriabad industrial zone and other areas and officials of the Hyderabad Electric Supply Company provided alternative connection to Nooriabad`s electricity from 132 kV gird station ofThatta.

According to a press release, Hesco spokesman Mohammad Sadiq Kubar said that technical teams had reached the scene and started installation work on emergency basis.

He hoped the restoration work would complete within three days.
