Sindh education

2017-04-22
THIS is apropos a press release by the Sindh education secretary (April 13), stating that 2,000 public schools are still closed in the province owing to a shortage of teachers. A good number of qualified persons, both men and women, are going aboutin searchofjobsin educational institutions.

This state of affairs is alarming and needs to be seriously viewed by our lawmakers and others responsible for filling up vacancies on a priority basis.

This will help improve the literacy ratio in Sindh, where educational standards are declining fast.
