JAMSHORO: Sindh University`s controller of semester examinations Mohammad Mashooque Siddiqui has announced postponement of the semester exams which were scheduled to begin on Tuesday (April 22) at all affiliated colleges.

The decision was taken in view of the current condition of roads and highways, and in response to the appealsfronaconcernedparentsofstudentsregardingsafety oftheirchildren,accordingtoapress statement issue here on Monday.

`A revised schedule for the postponed exams will be announced once the situation returns to normal,` it said, adding that the step had been taken purely to ensure safety and well-being of students, their parents and the examination staff.-Dawn Report
