T HIS is with reference to the editorial `Delayed poll debate` (May 8) which has missed the critical point that the parliamentary committee constituted to investigate the massive rigging of general elections 2018 has not been able to evenf rame its terms of reference in the last three years as the ruling party is dragging its feet over the matter.
According to FAFEN forensic survey, out of more than 78,000 form 45 posted on the Election Commission of Pakistan website af ter these elections, only 128 bore the signatures of polling agents with the names of the relevant candidates.
Now the same people are insisting that an electoral reforms committee should be constituted. How can we move forward if we push under our worn-out carpet what went wrong the last time? The government is not approaching the issue with clean hands. Modern technology in unclean hands can only cause further damage.
