People`s faith in the ability of the system to deliver is gradually being compromised which is an alarming state of affairs. The poor delivery of service is not limited to the public sector either, as the private sector is not too far behind.
The challenge of reforms is complex and dif ficult, needing a comprehensive approach. The use of technology and provision of an adequate and operative regulatory framework is the most critical step in this regard.
The use of technology will minimise the human interf ace, thus minimising the chances of corruption, abuse of power and inefficiency.
Such steps, if taken ef fectively, will f acilitate lives and boost productivity.
