Mr Liaquat Ali Khan told the artists and the `brains behind the cameras and scenes` that Hollywood had now be come more than a place. `It is a great industry, a centre of many arts and a world institution, Mr Liaquat Ali Khan said at a dinner the Motion Picture Association gave at Beverly Hills near here in honour of the Prime Minister and the Begum last night [May 18].

Hearty laughter followed when the Prime Minister began his speech with a pun.

Having been introduced by Frank Freeman, an official of the Motion Picture Association, Mr Liaquat Ali Khan began: `I am very happy to be introduced by a free man not only that but by a frank free man` (laughter). ...
