T HE roads in Karachi`s Azizabad neighbourhood are in a terrible condition.
The potholes on the roads are a major cause ofconcern.Theyhavenotbeen repaired for many years. Not only do they slow down the traffic. They also cause regular accidents. During the monsoon season, these potholes are filled with water and trash owing to which people faces problems crossing the streets.
Recently, there were several accidents due to these conditions. It is a known fact that the people of Karachi pay a large vehicle tax. It is therefore then fundamental right to have better roads for their vehicles.
I hope that the authorities concerned will look into the matter and take some prompt and necessary actions.
