LAHORE: The Mochi Gate police on Tuesday registered two cases against the traders andlabourers of the Shahalam Market for attacking and injuring five policemen, including a station house of ficer (SHO).

Acasewasregisteredona complaint of a police official against over 200 traders and the other suspects for attacking police, injuring the of ficials and damaging a police van.

The other case was lodged on the complaint of a citizen who alleged that some traders tortured his nephew during a row at the Shahalam Market and robbed him of cash and valuables.-Staff Reporter
