KARACHI: A district court has dismissed bail application of the main suspect in a case pertaining to the murder of four TikTokers.

The victims, Muskan Sheikh, Amir Khan, Rehan Shah and Saddam Hussain, were killed as unidentified armed men attacked their car near Anklesaria Hospital in the early hours on February1.

Additional District and Sessions Judge (South) Hatim Aziz Solangi pronounced his order reserved after hearing arguments on the application seeking grant of post-arrest bail for suspect Rehman Ali.

The judge dismissed the application observing that it failed to make out any case for the concession of grant of bail after arrest to the applicant. In April, the court had dismissed first bail application of Rehman Ali alias Shooter, who was absconding in the case, thus he was taken into custody.

The prosecution alleged that Ali, being the main case suspect in the case, was in contact with another girl in proximity of the incident.

Hussain`s brother Idris Af ridi, who is the complainant in the case, had also accused Ali and other suspects of being involved in the murders.

A case was registered under Sections 302 (premeditated murder), 201 (causing disappearanceofevidenceofoffence, orgivingfalseinformation to screen of fence), 202 (intentional omission to give information of offence by person bound to inform), 112 (abettor when liable to culminative punishment for act abetted and for act done) and 34 (common intention) of the Pakistan Penal Code at the Nabi Bux police station.
