KARACHI: The Directorate of Electronic Media and Publications (DEMP), Karachi and the Quaid-i-Azam Mazar Management Board (QMMB), jointly organised a two-day photographic exhibition on the Founding Fathers on the premises of Mazar-i-Quaid on Tuesday.

The exhibition was inaugurated by prominent historian Khawaja Razi Haider, who also visited the exhibition and lauded the pictorial collection of both the departments.

Addressing the seminar, Mr Haider, who has held the prestigious position of the director of the Quaid-i-Azam Academy Karachi multiple times, shed light upon the struggle and sacrifices made by the Founding Fathers of the nation in achieving a separate homeland for Muslims of the subcontinent.

Describing the pictorial collection as a `unique` exhibition, he urged both the departments to increase the frequency of such exhibitions and arrange them at different locations so that the youth could learn more about their country`s history.

Deputy director (in charge) of the DEMP Karachi Tariq Asad and assistant resident engineer QMMB Jawwad Mughal also addressed the ceremony and thanked the audience for their participation.

The photographic exhibition concludes on Wednesday.
