LAHORE: An education summit to discuss curriculum enhancement proposal was held at the Ali Institute of Education on Saturday.

The education summit was organised by a local book publisher company Edugate Publications and was attended by more than 500 schools` administrators including principals and teachers.

The speakers discussed ways to develop techniques among teachers on how to encourage children to be curious, to wonder, to think, to play, to question and to connect with the world around them. They also discussed the need to adopt best educational practices around the world which fulfill cultural, intellectual and social needs of the students.

The speakers said new strategiesshouldbeadopted in the classrooms including a greater depth of understanding of concepts, broader knowledge base and improved communication. Reporter
