LAHORE: A security guard of a farmhouse allegedly shot dead a seven years old for drinking water from the premises of the farmhouse in Chuhng.

Identified as Fahad, the boy was playing cricket with his friends when he felt a thirst for water and entered the farmhouse.

Police traced and arrested the guard as he fled the scene soon after shooting the boy.

Chuhng police SHO Nasir Hameed said guard Kabir Ali was deployed at the farmhouse where he murdered the boy. The police registered a murder case against the guard on the complaint of the boy`s father Talib Hussain.-Staff Reporter
