ISLAMABAD: The Constitution Committee of the National Assembly completed its deliberations here today [Dec 21] on the permanent draft Constitution. The final draft of the Constitution and the report of the Constitution Committee will be signed by the members at 11 a.m. on Dec 30. The report with the draft Constitution will be presented to the National Assembly on Dec 31.

News agencies [Meanwhile, as reported by news agencies from Lahore,] Khawaja Mohammad Rafique, President of the Pakistan Ittehad Party, who was murdered here yesterday [Dec 20], was laid to rest in the Miani Sahib graveyard this afternoon.

His Namaz-e-Janaza, which was led by Maulana Abdul Sattar Khan Niazi at the Nasser Bagh was attended by thousands of people.
