SOME cabinet members of the federal government issue confusing statements, claiming that no irregularity or flaw has been detected and highlighted in their performance.
They pretend that all existing problems have been inherited by the government from predecessor governments. This argument defies logic because the nonavailability of any wrongdoing does not excludeits existence.
It is the responsibility of the government to keep watch on the activity of its functionaries and expose their malpractices. It is time the government and their detractors realised that telling lies to the people and exchanging accusation of corruption and misadventures among themselves is no solution to the difficulties faced by the masses.
