BADIN: Stringent security measures have been taken for polling in Talhar, Kario Ghanwar and Tando Bago, Saeed Pur, Ali Bahadar Shah and Dadah where polling is to be held on Saturday.

Local government elections originally scheduled for Nov 19, 2015 in these areas were postponed due tosecurity and otherreasons.

Eight SSPs have been assigned the task of maintaining law and order in the areas where 1,500 police personnelhave been deployed.

Badin SSP Abdul Qayoom Pitafi said on Friday that deployment had been made at all 46 polling stations set up in the areas. He said 30 of the polling stations had been declared `most sensitive` and the rest `sensitive`.
