In a letter addressed to all the world sport bodies, the IOC stated: `Kindly request that each IF makes sure that its member federation in Pakistan adheres to the bottomline agreed upon during this joint meeting of Feb 15, 2013 and does not associate itself with any action or activity which would go against the Olympic Charter and the principles which govern the Olympic Movement.
`We are writing to you in relation to the situation of the Olympic Movement in Pakistan and following a joint meeting which took place on Feb 15, 2013 in Lausanne between IOC, Olympic Council of Asia, IOC member Shahid Ali and President of the POA Lt Gen (retired) Syed Arif Hasan.
`In this regard please find attached the official summary of this meeting, which was published on the IOC website and formally communicated to the President of the POA by letter of Feb 19, 2013. Please find also attached for your reference a copy of a self-explanatory IOC/OCA letter of Feb 5, 2013.
`You may have received confusing messages from a group of people and/or from some of your member federations in relation to the present situation of the POA.
