Army/Coke in polo final despite loss

LAHORE, Feb 22: Despite losing to Master Paints 6-5 in the crucial match, Army/Coke entered the final of the Bank Alfalah Aibak Polo Cup on better points here on Friday.
Army made a fine start seizing 2-1 lead with Raja Temur Nadeem and Manuel Crespo netting one goal each.
For Master Paints, Gaston Moore opened his account.
The winners came 3-2 ahead by dominating the second chukker as Moore and Sufi Mohammad Haris fired one goal apiece.
They maintained the slim lead in the third chukker too as both the sides hit one each, taking the score to 4-3.
While Temur contributed his second goal, Shah Qubilai Alam hit for Master Paints.
In the eventful fourth chukker, the fight for supremacy continued as four goals were scored, two by each side.
Moore, Temur, Isfandylyar Ali Khan and Sufi Mohammad Aamir were the scorers.
Army/Coke will fight against Colony Sugar in the final on Sunday.-Sports Reporter
