KARACHI: Armed men killed a man when he resisted a robbery bid in a Korangi locality on Monday, police said.

They said Zulfiqar Ali was standing at Chamra Chowrangi when two men on a motorcycle tried to loot him.

The man resisted and one of the robbers fired at him.

He sustained critical bullet woundsandwastakentothe Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre, where doctors pronounced him dead on arrival.

The Korangi Industrial Area police said the victim was a crane operator and lived in P&T Colony.
