English in education

2017-02-23
ENGLISHis aninternationallanguage which is taught and spoken worldwide.

According to an estimate, the native speakers of English are 360 to 400m and is the official language of many countries such as the US, England, Australia and New Zealand.

Also, it is used as the second language in many countries where people use it to communicate with dif ferent people of the world.

In Pakistan, government school students are taught all subjects in Urdu except English which is a compulsory subject.

It hurts to mention that when government school students pass their high school examinations and join college, they f ace setbacks as all textbooks prescribed and lectures delivered are in English.

My suggestion to students is: they should learn English from the beginning. This will help them later.
