Changing the system
2017-02-23
IT is a time when the world does not slow down for a country having incompetent, weak and inadaptive institutions. We need to understand the importance of having adaptability.
We cannot continue to expect good things for ourselves if we do not strive for innovation in all sectors (business, industry, technology, sports, education, military, society, etc.).
The state is not the only one at f ault; each and everyone of us, at an individual level has been bound by the system that we have grown up with. Our ideas: restricted, our imagination: behind bars, our desires: unsatisfied.
Many fail to shine because of pressures f rom society. The unhelpful attitude of some sections of society, using the guise of religion, has destroyed much of our nation`s creativity.
Countries that have established themselves on the world stage are adapting and innovating every day. Companies are spending billions of dollars on research and development. People are striving on an individual level. Why? Because their system supports them.
When will we innovate? When will we stop following? When will we lead? All these questions can be answered only after the main issue at hand has been addressed.
Our system needs to change.
