This occasion marks thecelebration of not one, but two significant milestones Habib Bank AG Zurich has completed 50 years of international banking service, while also having operated for 25 years under the banner of its subsidiary, HABIBMETRO Bank, in Pakistan.

I cherish my association with the Habib brand; its rich history transcends beyond the 50 years of Habib Bank AG Zurich that we celebrate today. The Habib name symbolizes a vision that was created over a century ago,and made considerable impact on the history of, initially the sub-continent`s trade, commerce and banking, and later, Pakistan`s economic and f i n a n c i a 1 infrastructure.

At HABIBMETRO Bank, I am proud to see the values of humility, dedication,integrity and unparalleled service that were sowed in the early 1900`s continue to bear fruits of customer loyaltyand appreciation till today.

I dedicate this Golden Jubilee and characteristic spirit of timeless excellence of the brand, to our staff, without whose sincerity and committed service we would not be celebrating this momentous occasion today.
