PESHAWAR: Chief Minister Pervez Khattak has announced compensation for policemen and civilians killed and injured in the terrorism incidents occurred in Charsadda and Badhber. The compensation would be paid under the Shuhada Package.
A handout issued here on Tuesday quoted the chief minister as saying that that police force had been combating terrorism valiantly.
He said that anti-social elements would not find opportunity anymore to play with the lives of the people.
He said that under the Shuhada Package the heirs of the each civilian killed would be paid Rs0.5 million while injured would get Rs0.2 million, respectively.
The heirs of the policeman killed in the attacks would not only get a cash amount of Rs.3 million, but also avail facilities of monthly salary, free health and education for their children, pension, residential plots and recruitment of one family member in police force.
Similarly, each injured police personnel besides free treatment would be paid a cash compensation of Rs0.1 million. Bureau Report
