LAHORE: The National Accountability Bureau has summoned Lahore commissioner in the Lahore Parking Company scam for Wednesday (today).

On Tuesday, former PML-N MPA Hafiz Nauman did not appear before the NAB in the same case.

“The NAB Lahore has summoned the Lahore Commissioner Abdullah Sumbal in this case on Wednesday (today) to record his statement,” a source said.

Earlier, the NAB had arrested top five officials of the Lahore Parking Company on corruption charges. Those arrested included chief executive officer of the company, Taseer Ahmed.

NAB said the five suspects in violation of PPRA rules had illegally awarded contract to the NTG and Green Park, causing loss of millions of rupees to the national exchequer.
