RAWALPINDI: A 15-year-old boy, who went missing on Thursday, was found dead on Sunday.

Waheed Khan, father of the deceased, had lodged an FIR with the Airport police stating his son Hassan Waheed left home for a nearby shop at noon but did not return.

Police said the body was shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital for postmortem. A pistol was found lying close to the body. However, the police are yet to determine whether it was a murder or suicide.

Meanwhile, a 38-year-old man was killed after being hit by a train while crossing the track near Mareer Chowk on Sunday.

Rescue services while quoting eyewitnesses said the man, identified as Javed Latif, was crossing the track when he was knocked down by a train.
