ISLAMABAD: A delegation of traders called on the newly appointed SSP Operations Sajid Kiani and congratulate d him.

The SSP thanked the delegation for reposing confidence in him and said Islamabad police were making all efforts to overcome crime.

He said security at markets would be beefed up during Ramazan with the cooperation of traders and effective policing steps.

He said the number of police pickets had been reduced with the focus on making existing ones more functional and active.

President Anjuman-iTajiran Islamabad Mohammad Kashif Chaudhry assured SSP Operations of their cooperation to ensure law and order in the city and resolve other security-related issues in the city.-APP
